Detailspro was founded in 2010 by Nance Carbone who has 28 years experience automating and managing small businesses. After studying Graphic Design and Photography at Massachusetts College of Art & Design, she found herself in a unique opportunity to learn about the world of computers and accounting automation.

Back in the days when artists were warned that they would soon be replaced by a computer named after an apple and computers were so large that they needed a climate controlled room of their own, Nance attended computer classes at IBM. She acquired hands on learning experience by assisting with the development of a complete database to integrate accounting software for a small wholesale gift business. Given her new ability, she went on to automate another small wholesale gift/toy business and eventually became the company's controller.

Due to the size of the business, she was also involved in the design, development, and marketing of the product line. That business was sold to a large toy and doll importer and one of the suppliers contacted Nance to manage a screenprinting/embroidery business. She accepted as the company's controller and helped to grow the business to five times its original size by creating a complete custom apparel line for the resort/destination industry, designing and sourcing through U.S. factories, and hiring and managing a national sales rep force.

She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and their two teenage sons.
